【Force Majeure/Acts of God 】- Unexpected cancellation of the event

• The organizing committee of 8th Asia-Pacific Travel Health Conference reserves the right to cancel the conference without notice or compensation in the case of an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the committee, such as a war, terrorist attacks, riot, crime or an event described as an “act of God”(e.g. earthquake, fire, flooding or breakout of diseases) occurs. In such cases, the 8th Asia-Pacific Travel Health Conference is free of all responsibility because of such an incident. In the event of it being impossible for the organizing committee to carry out the 8th Asia-Pacific Travel Health Conference due to force majeure cases, so long as it arises from a cause not attributable to the 8th APTHC, the organizing committee shall only be obliged to reimburse the payments received subject to deduction of any costs it has incurred in preparation for the event. This liability only extends to payments made directly to the 8th APTHC and not to payments made by the attendees to hotels or airlines.
